A South Australian couple has been reunited with their six-month-old Kelpie after a drone found the dog following a 48-hour search on a cliff top in Mount Gambier. A man with a drone found the distressed dog on the edge of a rocky slope Kelsea Fox and Adam Pfitzner anxiously hunted for Macey by car, pulling over passers-by before taking to social media to ask for the community's help. This triggered hours of hunting, with a team of people scouring the mountain side and using drones to examine the scene. Video footage from the drone shows the dog walking on the volcano slope at Valley Lakes crater near Mt Gambier in South Australia before Mr Pfitzner climbs up the rocks and Macey jumps into his arms. The drone filmed the reunion as the pet owner climbed rocky crags and bushland to get to the pet dog who was only metres away, wagging her tail in pleasure.
